Oak & Origin Antique & Vintage Furniture

The Story of Oak & Origin

Furniture With a Past. A Place in Your Future.

Oak & Origin is a home for antique and vintage furniture with real character. We find pieces made to last, restore them with respect for their history, and pass them on to people who will keep their story going.

Our Story

A Love for Things Made to Last.

We are drawn to furniture that has already lived a life: the worn edge of a table, the warm shine of aged oak, the small repairs that show it was loved.

Built differently

Older pieces were built differently, with solid timber, honest joinery and finishes that deepen with time. That character is hard to find in new furniture, and it is what we look for in every piece we choose.

A second chapter

Our work is to give these pieces a second chapter. We repair what is failing, keep what is beautiful, and send each one on to a home where it will be used and looked after again.

Our process

See how each piece is repaired and finished in our own workshop.

Our History

A Story Built Piece by Piece.

Four chapters that shaped the way we find, restore and care for furniture.

  1. A small hand-finished wooden chest of drawers
    Chapter 01

    The Beginning

It started with a single old piece of furniture and a simple question: why do things made long ago still feel so alive? A first find, a first repair and a lasting curiosity.

  2. An aged dark timber cabinet with many small drawers
    Chapter 02

    Discovering Craft

Working with aged timber taught us patience. We learned to read joinery, grain and wear, and to mend what is failing while leaving what is beautiful.

  3. A restored vintage wooden bench in a bright room
    Chapter 03

    A New Chapter

Finding, restoring and finishing came together in one workshop. Each piece began to be chosen with more care and described with more honesty.

  4. A carved console table styled in a sunlit entryway
    Chapter 04

    Today

We continue to source furniture with real character and prepare it for modern homes, so every piece can begin its next chapter with someone new.
